The European Commission today presented an EU Framework for Climate Resilience to strengthen Europe’s ability to anticipate, prepare for, and manage climate risks.

The European Commission welcomes the provisional political agreement reached by the European Parliament and the Council on a targeted amendment to strengthen the Market Stability Reserve (MSR) of the EU's Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).

On 19 October 2026, the European Commission selected 77 European net-zero technology projects to receive funding support worth €3.4 billion under the call of the Innovation Fund, launched in December 2025.
