Description
A significant number of projects financed by the European Union’s LIFE and Horizon 2020 programmes demonstrate how new technologies can work and develop practices to help farmers and foresters adopt and improve climate-smart production methods. These projects contribute to the creation of new knowledge and can help to implement the EU's climate commitments, including those under the Paris Agreement and the EU 2030 climate and energy package.
In light of the above, the European Commission is organising a workshop on "Climate Action in Agriculture and Forestry", to bring relevant projects together and provide a platform to exchange key findings and identify innovative approaches that could be taken up on a larger scale across the EU.
The workshop will be webstreamed.
