VERTA Webinar: Recommendations on Third-Party Verification Rules under the CRCF Regulation

The VERTA project (CRCF VERification Technical Assistance) supports the European Commission’s DG CLIMA in preparing an Implementing Act that will define technical rules for third-party verification of carbon removals under the CRCF Regulation.

This VERTA webinar presents the final recommendations for the upcoming Implementing Act to members of the EU Expert Group on Carbon Removals and other relevant experts.

The Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming (CRCF) Regulation (EU/2024/3012), which entered into force in December 2024, establishes the first EU-wide voluntary framework for certifying permanent carbon removals, carbon farming, and carbon storage in products.
