<p>The annual climate conference, known as the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), will take place in Marrakech, Morocco. The 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties and the 12th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol will be held from 7 to 18 November.</p>

Description
With the Paris Agreement entering into force on 4 November, following the EU's ratification of the deal last month, the first session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement (CMA 1) will also take place in Marrakech.
EU SIDE EVENTS
The European Union Pavilion will host a series of side events during the COP22/CMP 12, aimed at stimulating the debate on key thematic areas, engage observers and facilitate the dialogue with party delegates and other participants.
