Expert Group meeting on industrial carbon removal methodologies - 25-26 October 2023

In October, a dedicated Expert Group meeting will take place online to identify best practices and address challenges in developing certification methodologies for industrial carbon removals. We will present the results from the survey that was conducted over summer.

Agenda

The agenda comprises several thematic sessions centred around the industrial capture of CO₂ and its long-term storage in geological formations or products. These sessions include:

Direct air capture
Bioenergy with Carbon Capture
Transport and geological storage
Biochar

Carbon mineralisation in concrete
Biogenic carbon storage in buildings
Enhanced Weathering
