The European Commission will release verified EU ETS emissions data and compliance information for 2010 starting on 1 April 2011.

The procedure will be as follows:

On 1 April 2011 at 12:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST), the Commission will grant unlimited access to installation-level 2010 verified emissions data on the website of the Community Independent Transaction Log (CITL website). The data will also be published in an Excel spreadsheet format on the DG CLIMA website ("Registries" section). In accordance with the practice followed in previous years, no aggregate data or interpretation will be made available. In contrast to previous years, however, access to the installation-level data will be granted whatever amount of data is available on 1 April.

On 2 May at 12:00 CEST, the Commission will grant unlimited access on the CITL website to the quantity of units surrendered for 2010 per unit type - allowances, Certified Emission Reductions (CERs - Credits generated by Clean Development Mechanism projects) and Emission Reduction Units (ERUs - Credits generated by Joint Implementation projects).

On 16 May at 12:00 CEST, on the CITL website the Commission will grant unlimited access to the installation-level compliance status figure indicating whether an installation surrendered the required amount of allowances and/or credits. The compliance information data will also be published in an Excel spreadsheet format on the website of DG CLIMA.
