Further details on starting date for back-loading to be published later this week.

The Commission welcomes the Council's endorsement of the draft amendment of the EU ETS Auctioning Regulation on back-loading today. The European Parliament endorsed this amendment already on 6 February. The Commission intends to adopt the amendment tomorrow and publish it in the Official Journal the following day, 26 February. In the following days an announcement will be made on this website which auction dates will be the first ones to be affected by back-loading.
