The Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the United States Senate is holding a hearing on the European Union's Emissions Trading System (ETS), focusing on the inclusion of aviation into the ETS.

The Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the United States Senate is holding a hearing on the European Union's Emissions Trading System (ETS), focusing on the inclusion of aviation into the ETS.

Jos Delbeke, Director-General for Climate Action, is appearing before the Committee to provide testimony on behalf of the European Union. Among other invited witnesses is the U.S. Secretary for Transportation, Ray LaHood.
