At the UN climate change conference in Paris, developed countries today reaffirmed their strong commitment to jointly mobilise USD 100 billion a year by 2020 from a wide variety of sources, both public and private. A detailed list of all announcements to date has been published in a joint statement by donors.

Climate finance is flowing at increasing levels. A recent study by the OECD and Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) estimated that developed countries mobilised USD 62 billion in 2014. About two-thirds of these funds were public climate finance.
