The European Energy Exchange (EEX) published today the 2020 calendars for the auctions of aviation allowances.
In 2020, EEX will conduct six aviation auctions in its capacity as the Common Auction Platform for 25 EU Member States and the EEA EFTA states Norway and Iceland. Starting on 15 January 2020, the auctions will take place on a bi-monthly basis.

Furthermore, EEX will conduct two separate auctions in its capacity as opt-out platform for Germany and auction platform auctioning for Poland:

The auction volumes of aviation allowances are determined on the basis of Article 28a(3) of the ETS Directive. All aviation auctions are scheduled on the abovementioned dates in the afternoon.
