Description
The event allowed EU and LAC stakeholders – diplomats and domestic policy practitioners – to engage in informal discussions on joint challenges and approaches by looking at key themes in the international climate arena. The deliberations provided a useful opportunity to explore common ground and ways for effectively advancing the climate cooperation between the EU and LAC.
The roundtable followed similar events for Africa held in October 2011 and for Asia-Pacific held in June 2012.
