Carbon pricing continues to gain momentum as a key tool for addressing climate change. This Global Climate Action Summit (GCAS) affiliate event in San Francisco brings together senior government officials, business leaders, academics, international experts, and non-governmental organisations to engage on key aspects of carbon pricing, including carbon markets, and how to leverage carbon pricing to increase ambition in addressing climate change.
Discussions at the event in California will focus on experiences to date, emerging programmes, and opportunities for new partnerships.
This is a special event by the European Commission, State of California, and the Government of Canada jointly organized with IETA's Carbon Forum North America. The event is also supported by the World Bank, the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition, Environmental Defense Fund and ICAP.
