Description

The workshop provided stakeholders with the opportunity to:

  • Share feedback on two review papers examining carbon removals via DOCCS and mineral carbonation.
  • Hear insights from leading subject matter experts in the field.

This workshop is part of a process to inform the European Commission’s decision-making on whether certification methodologies for DOCCS and mineral carbonation should be developed for potential integration into the CRCF framework, and if so to help determine the appropriate certification requirements.

The DOCCS session will highlight some of the geochemistry that was covered in detail during last year's workshop on ERW & OAE.
