Description
On 19 June 2026, the Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA) will host a hybrid Stakeholder Consultation Event on the upcoming 2026 Innovation Fund Call for Proposals (IF26 Call).
The objective of this event is to provide an overview of the Innovation Funds’ progress and achievements, and to gather stakeholder feedback on future calls for proposals. Thus, this event presents an opportunity for sector-specific stakeholders to provide their input on the design of the 2026 Innovation Fund Call for Proposals.

Description
The Innovation Fund is one of the world’s largest funding programmes for the demonstration and commercialisation of innovative net-zero and low-carbon technologies. The Innovation Fund aims to bring industrial solutions to decarbonise Europe to the market and is funded with revenues from the auctioning of allowances from the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS).
